Former RHPD Officer Cone Remembered

ROCKY HILL, CT — Rocky Hill police on Thursday announced passing of retired detective Wally Cone.

Cone served with RHPD for 26 years and, following his retirement, he spent 17 years with the town of Rocky Hill IT department.

Services were took place Thursday at St. James Church. The Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department and the Wethersfield Police Department for assisting with the services.

A black ribbon hung in front of Rocky Hill police headquarters on Thursday to mark Cone's passing.
