Gunshots Fired in Rocky Hill: Cops
Police found several shell casings in one area of Rocky Hill on Monday.

ROCKY HILL, CT — Local police are investigating gunshots fired in town.
On Monday at 8:18 p.m., the Rocky Hill Police Department received two calls from residents reporting that several gunshots were heard being fired on Gilbert Avenue in the area of Silo Drive, according to a news release.
One caller reported seeing a light-colored vehicle driving northbound on Gilbert Avenue at the time the shots were reported, according to a news release.

Upon arrival, RHPD officers canvassed the area and located several bullet shell casings on the side
of the roadway on Gilbert Avenue, according to a news release.

A search of the immediate area was conducted, but no evidence was obtained that any person or structure had been struck by bullets, police said.
The Rocky Hill Police Department is requesting anyone with information regarding the incident to
