In Rocky Hill, The Olympics Has Gone Straight to the Dogs

Best Friends Pet Care hosted a day full of events similar to the ones at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

 

The staff at got the Olympic fever and then it went right to the dogs. 

On Wednesday afternoon, the dogs were able to participate in several games such as races, wrestling and water retrieval that are similar to the ones being performed by amateur athletes at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

For , doing is nothing unusual. Best Friends manager Corinne Whaley said "pet parents love activities that coordinate with national and international events."

"A Doggy Olympics games day for dog just makes sense," she said. “Dogs love to run and jump and wrestle. But the best part of our games is that the dogs really don't care if they win or lose -- they just love playing!"
