Jobs Restored For Some Rocky Hill Janitors

The union and building owners reached a settlement

ROCKY HILL, CT - Nine union janitors who lost their jobs a little more than 10 months ago will be returning to work on May 1, in a settlement reached by the owner of the building they cleaned and the Service Employees International, the Hartford Courant reported.

The workers cleaned an office in Rocky Hill owned by KS Partners.

According to the Courant story, eight of the workers were part-time, generally 20 to 25 hours a week, and one worked full-time.
