Just 1 Big Lottery Winner From the Area Over the Past Week

ROCKY HILL, CT — Just one lottery prize of $10,000 or more was awarded on Tolland and Hartford counties over the past week.

That was Joe Johnson of East Hartford out of Sam's Food Store in Hartford, lottery officials said.

He won $27,500 on a Play4 Night ticket.

Connecticut Lottery officials said they are still waiting for multiple top-prize winning ticket holders "to step forward and claim their prizes."

Currently, there are two unclaimed Cash5 $100,000 top prizes and one unclaimed Lucky Links Night $50,000 top prize, CT Lottery officials said.

The Cash5 winning numbers drawn on Aug. 3, were: 7 - 9 - 25 - 26 - 30. The winning ticket was sold in Hartford County. The $100,000 top prize expires on Jan. 30, 2018.

The Cash5 winning numbers drawn on Aug. 9, were: 1 - 11 - 12 - 20 - 24. The winning ticket was sold in Hartford County. The $100,000 top prize expires on Feb. 5, 2018.

The Lucky Links Night winning numbers drawn on Sept. 24 were: 1 – 2 – 5 – 9 – 10 – 11 – 15 – 17. The winning ticket was sold in New London County. The $50,000 top prize expires on March 23, 2018.
