Kids Can Learn To Be Tree Detectives, Thanks To The Cora J. Belden Library

Those who want a kit to need to sign up by Thursday, September 10.

Have you ever picked up a fallen leaf and wondered what tree it came from? Join us as we learn how to identify trees based on clues from their leaves! Once you know what to look for, you’ll be able to point to a tree and tell what kind it is! Registration is required for this online program. Space is limited. Recommended for children ages 7 and up. Sign up by Thursday, September 10th. Kits will be ready to be picked up by Monday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m. Limited number of kits available. Must have adult supervision at all times.

Please register with your child's library card number. If your child does not have a library card, you can apply in person with the parent or guardian's current ID with address or apply for a digital card online here. Questions? Call 860-258-7623.
