Mega Millions Ticket Worth A Million Bucks Sold in Hartford County

It just might be $1 million prize winner, Connecticut Lottery Officials said.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on July 8 were 8-19-20-55-73 with a Mega Ball of 5.

The Megaplier was 2.

A total of 131,880 winning Mega Millions tickets were sold statewide on that date with values ranging from $1 to $1 million each.

All draw game tickets expire 180 calendar days from the draw date. Lottery officials are encouraging players to check their tickets online at CTLOTTERY.ORG, by scanning in a lottery Ticket Checker, by using the official CT Lottery Mobile App, or at any lottery retailer location.

There was $540 million on the line in the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, July 8.

The jackpot is the seventh largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history, gaming officials said. The one-time cash payout option for Friday's game, if you win, is estimated at $380 million.
