ROCKY HILL, CT — One person was injured in a two-car crash at the intersection of Elm Street and Gilbert Avenue Tuesday, according to the fire department.
Fire officials said one of the drivers was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Rocky Hill Fire Department.

When emergency responders arrived, one of the vehicles was off the road and into a snowbank. Both drivers had exited their vehicles on their own, officials said.
Fluids spilled onto the roadway as a result of the crash, according to fire officials. Traffic had to be diverted for about an hour during clean-up efforts, officials said.
