Police Identifiy Man Found Dead in Crawl Space at Rocky Hill Plaza

The incident is still being investigated, police said.

ROCKY HILL, CT - Rocky Hill police have released the name of the man found dead in Wednesday in a crawl space while working at a local shopping plaza.

He is Joshua R. Bujnowski, 32, of Hudson, New Hampshire, police said Thursday.

This case is not being considered suspicious, police said.

The exact cause and manner of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief’s Medical Examiner.

Representatives from the federal Occupational and Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident, police said.

The incident was at the Town Line Plaza, 80 Town Line Road. Offers were called to the plaza at 2:43 p.m. for a medical situation, according to police. Police were told by the caller reported that a man who was a contracted worker, was in a small enclosed crawl space and that he was not responsive.

The Rocky Hill Police Department, Rocky Hill Fire Department, and Aetna Ambulance responded to the scene. The man was located in a small crawl space and was pronounced deceased, police said.

Police said the man was performing some type of work inside the crawl space.
