ROCKY HILL — Rocky Hill police are investigating a News Year's Day untimely death at a local park. At 10:13 a.m, on Tuesday, Rocky Hill police responded to the Quarry Park area off Old Main Street after receiving a report of an unresponsive woman who was found near a walking trail. Police Officers and medical personnel responded to the scene and determined the woman was deceased, a report indicates. Rocky Hill dectectives were still investigating the case Wednesday morming. The identity of the woman has not yet been released, pending notification of family members. Police said there was "no reason to believe there is, or ever was," any danger to the public.
