UPDATE: Missing Elderly Rocky Hill Man With Alzheimer's Found
Rocky Hill police were looking for a man who left his home Wednesday night but he is now 'safe,' police said.
ROCKY HILL, CT — The situation surrounding a missing elderly man from Rocky Hill is over as local police reported Thursday morning that the matter has now been "resolved."
Rocky Hill police were searching for the man, who has Alzheimer's. He disappeared Wednesday night, according to a Silver Alert Thursday morning.
The first Silver Alert was sent out at 6:23 a.m., but in an updated alert sent out at 7:11 a.m., police said the situation was "resolved."

Rocky Hill police said the man left his home on Falcon Ridge overnight and hadn't returned home.
In a follow-up Tweet, the RHPD said the man was found and is now "safe."
