Police are investigating a possible shots fired incident in Rocky Hill.

ROCKY HILL, CT — Police are investigating a possible shots fired incident in Rocky Hill.

Police said on Monday that they are aware of an incident in which a home surveillance camera “appears to have captured the sound of multiple gunshots” in the area of Elm Street and Courtney Drive around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday.

“The incident is actively under investigation by the Rocky Hill Police Department Detective Division,” police wrote in a news release on Monday. “Investigators are working to determine the origin of the sounds, the circumstances surrounding the incident, and whether any individuals were involved.

“At this time, there is no additional information available for release, as the investigation remains ongoing.”

Anyone who may have information related to the incident, witnessed suspicious activity in the area, or has home surveillance footage that may be relevant is asked to contact the Rocky Hill Police Department Detective Division at 860-258-7640.
