Rocky Hill Business Named to 2016 Forbes 'Best Employers' List
Several Connecticut companies made the cut.

ROCKY HILL, CT - Home and beauty care products company Henkel, which has a location in Rocky Hill, was named to the Forbes list of "America's Best Employers" for 2016, according to the publication.
The company, which is headquartered in Dusseldorf, Germany, was ranked the 392nd best company to work for in the United States.
Forbes ranked the 500 top employers in America, in 25 industries, based on responses from more than 30,000 workers who were at companies that had at least 5,000 employees.

"Employees are in the best position to say which companies and organizations are offering the strongest opportunities—so we asked them," wrote Forbes' Kathryn Dill, adding that the publication worked with online statistics provider Statista to compile the list.
Other Connecticut employers to make the list are Yale-New Haven Health (#27 overall), the State of Connecticut (#76, Hartford), Sikorsky (#99, Stratford) and Praxair (#165, Danbury).

Topping the Forbes list is Marathon Petroleum in Findlay, OH, followed by Google (#2, Mountain View, CA), Costco (#3, Issaquah, WA), Wegmans Food Markets (#4, Rochester, NY) and United Services Auto Association (#5, San Antonio, TX).
