Rocky Hill Dance Studio Seeking New Life

Despite some rough economic times from the 2008 recession, one local dance studio continues to persist and is looking for new life.

U.S. Dance Club on New Britain Avenue teaches lessons on a variety of dances — including Zumba, ballroom and Latin-flavored dancing — and is situated in a 3,800 square-foot space, The New Britain Herald reported.

The newspaper noted that the dance studio, which has seen some harder economic times, still is looking to remain a viable dance studio in Rocky Hill.

The owner, and main dance instructor, Ellen Seelen, told the newspaper that, at age 76, she isn't ready yet to retire.
