Rocky Hill Obituary: Alan Kristensen, 73

Alan Walter Kristensen, 73, of Rocky Hill and formerly of Merrick, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Camille (Castellano) Kristensen. He was born in Brooklyn, NY.

Besides his wife, he leaves behind his son, Scott Kristensen of Newington. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Victoria DeMartino, sister-in-law Diane Roselli and husband Gino, and brother-in-law Nicholas Castellano.

He enjoyed his free time hunting, fishing and cooking. He was the vice president of DMB&B Advertising. After retiring from the advertising company, he went on to South Nassau Communities Hospital where he worked as a chef.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 19th at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St, Rocky Hill. Calling hours are 3pm-6:30pm with a service immediately following at 6:30pm.
