Rocky Hill Obituary: Dulce Guimaraes, 82

Dulce (daSilva) Guimaraes, 82, of Rocky Hill, beloved wife of the late Abel Oliveira Guimaraes, Jr., died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at home.

Born in Viseu, Portugal, she came to Hartford in 1969 and was employed at Hughes Health and Rehabilitation for many years. Dulce was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilia and Manuel Parreira and Elsa and Brian Malicki; a son Peter Guimaraes ; three grandchildren, Christina, Jacob and Makayla. She also leave two brothers and a sister all of Portugal.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 5, 10:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Everyone one is requested to meet at the Church. Burial will be private.
