Rocky Hill Obituary: Eileen Warren, 50

Eileen Marie (Duffy) Warren of Rocky Hill, beloved wife of James Warren, passed away peacefully at home. Sunday, January 22, 2017 after a long illness.

She was born at St. Francis Hospital on August 28, 1966. She attended St. Brigid grammar school and Northwest Catholic High School, and graduated from the Morse School of Business. She worked as an executive secretary at the Connecticut AFL-CIO, Rocky Hill for over 26 years and was devout Catholic. Eileen and James (a navy veteran) loved sea voyages with over 18 cruises and traveling to Montreal to watch the Montreal Canadians play hockey.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her parents, Michael and Mary Duffy of Farmington; her father-in-law, Larry Warren of Pennsylvania; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Leonard and Raymie Duffy of Avon, Justin and Allyson Duffy of West Hartford, Ryan and Holly Duffy of Columbia and Michael Duffy of New Britain. She also leaves three nephews, Chase, Finnegan and Tate.

Calling hours will be Thursday (January 26), from 4 to 7 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, (January 27), 10:00 am in St, Brigid Church, 1088 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Burial will be private.
