
Elizabeth Mikan Rigoletti passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2017 in her home town of Rocky Hill.
Born in Hartford on January 6, 1921, she graduated from Bulkeley High school in 1939. Betty had a long career with the State of Connecticut beginning with the State Veterans Home in Rocky Hill and continuing with the Department of Consumer Protection in Hartford.
She is the widow of Orest Rigoletti, her beloved husband for 62 years. She is survived by her son Gary Rigoletti and his wife Judy of Rocky Hill; four grandsons, Seth Rigoletti of Portland ME, Jeffrey Rigoletti of East Hampton, Michael Rigoletti of San Francisco CA and Jonathan Hague of West Hartford; and four great grandchildren. Besides her husband Orest, she was predeceased by her son Daniel, her daughter Linda, and all nine of her siblings.

Always up for a good time, Betty enjoyed many activities in life including golf, cooking, card games, music, dancing, traveling and an occasional casino run to play the slots. She and Orest were fixtures at the 7:30 Mass at St. James Church in Rocky Hill where they attended for decades including when the St. James was located on Chapin Avenue prior to 1960.
Visiting hours are Sunday October 1, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm Street in Rocky Hill. She will be laid to rest privately with her husband Orest in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
