
Florence Kranmas (Morin), 91 of Rocky Hill passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
Born in Van Buren, Maine daughter of the late John and Josephine (Laplante) Morin, she grew up and lived in Van Buren, Maine before she moved to Bristol in 1939. Florence worked at the Underwood and Colt Firearms before she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking day trips to the casino with her husband.
She was predeceased by her husband William E. Kranmas, her son William W. Kranmas and two brothers Clifford Morin and Rudy Morin. She is survived by her loving daughter-in-law Linda I. Kranmas (Lemay) of West Hartford, her grandchildren, William W. Kranmas, Jr. of Lindenhurst, NY, Gregory Kranmas of West Suffield and Leeann Kranmas of West Suffield. Her great-grandchildren Christopher, Nicholas, Hunter, Kaylin and Tanner. She is also survived by her brothers Herman Morin of Santa Clara, CA and Wilfred Morin of Bristol. Her sisters Geraldine Covaleski of South Windsor, Florine Winslow of Manchester and Therese Poharcyk of Wethersfield, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will begin at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, February 7th, at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 AM, at St. James Roman Catholic Church 767 Elm St, Rocky Hill. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict, Bloomfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, February 6th from 4:30-7:30 PM.
