Rocky Hill Obituary: Laraine Wilson, 70

Laraine Joyce Wilson, 70, of Rocky Hill, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2016 with her family by her side.

Laraine was born on February 7, 1946 in London, England she was the daughter of the late F. Bruce and Dorothy Joyce (Moss) Wilson. Laraine worked for the State of Connecticut as a Liquor Agent for 27 years. Laraine was a very active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Wethersfield, a participant of the Vestry and a member of the Friendship Force. A devoted mother and grandmother she especially enjoyed time spent with her family.

Laraine leaves behind her beloved son, William E. Wilson of Rocky Hill, her brother Keith E. Wilson and his wife Karen of Winsted, her granddaughter Lilyan Wilson, brother-in-law Greg Van Deusen and his wife Carol of Avon, nephew Ian Wilson of Winsted, niece Molly Wilson of Winsted, niece Amy Van Deusen of NY.NY., nephews Colin Van Deusen and Chris Van Deusen of NY.NY. Laraine will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 10 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 300 Main Street, Wethersfield. Calling hours will be held on Friday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Burial will be held at a later date.
