Rocky Hill Obituary: Margaret Tomany, 68

Margaret Mary Tomany, 68, of Rocky Hill, died Saturday, April 16, 2016.

She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Kevin J. and Katherine (Foley) Tomany. Margaret Mary worked for Cigna Insurance Co. through HARC for 30 years. She always had a happy smile.

She is survived by a brother Kevin J. Tomany and his wife Jean of Newington, her niece Kristin Doherty and her husband Colin of Newington, her nephew Michael Tomany of Newington, her Aunt Margaret Mearman of Rocky Hill, her Manchester Noonan family Kate, Mat, Tom and Kevin and Rebecca Noonan of Oregon who took loving care of her while living in Manchester and a special thank you to Maple View Manor for their compassionate care. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Patricia Noonan and Annmarie Tomany.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Thursday, April 21, 2016 12:30PM at St. James Church, 767 Elm Street, Rocky Hill. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call prior to the service from 11AM-12PM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield.
