
Sally Fumiatti, 97, formerly of Wethersfied, the widow of Peter J. Fumiatti, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Apple Rehab in Rocky Hill.
Born in Hartford, Sally was the daughter of Sabastiano and Salvatrice (Pavone) Failla. She was retired from Telephone Order Department of G. Fox & Co in Hartford. Sally was an avid reader, loved Italian and Spanish music and could make a friend anywhere.
She is survived by her two sons, John Peter Fumiatti of Palm Springs, CA, and Thomas David Fumiatti of Ellington; her daughter and son-in-law, Lorrie and Paul Kellogg of West Hartford; her sister, Marian Failla of Cromwell; her four grandchildren, Katherine Kellogg Hill, Elizabeth Wilson and her husband Steven, Heather Fumiatti, and Matthew Fumiatti and Casey Borden; and two great grandchildren, Beau Wilson and Colin Fumiatti. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister Rose Failla, her brother Salvatore Failla, her grandson Christopher Kellogg, and her great granddaughter Graysen Hill.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 136 South Main Street, West Hartford. Burial will follow at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
