
Scott Emery Taylor, 62, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Hartford Hospital.
Born in Manchester on July 24, 1953, raised in Vernon, attending Vernon Public Schools and Riverview School of East Sandwich, MA. He was employed by the Travelers Insurance Company for 40 years where he made many friends and enjoyed his work. Scott was an avid UConn, Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins fan. He also enjoyed golfing and watching vintage television shows. He was predeceased by his parents, Alan B. Taylor and Eugenia (Emery) Taylor.
Scott leaves behind three brothers and their wives, Glenn Taylor (Karen) of Manchester, Craig Taylor (Nancy) of Canton and Bruce Taylor (Susan) of Wethersfield as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, who Scott loved very much.

The family would like to thank Hartford Hospital for their care and compassion during Scott’s illness.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the Taylor family Friday, May 27, 2016 from 5-7pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
