Rocky Hill Officials Stressing Licenses At Dog Park
Dogs and owners not having one could be fined.

ROCKY HILL – Dogs visiting the local dog park better be licensed.
That is the word from town officials, according to the Record-Journal.
Complaints by local dog owners about unlicensed, potentially unvaccinated animals at the Elm Ridge Park facility have prompted greater scrutiny from the town animal control officer, according to the story.

Over the past three weeks, one ticket has been issued and 50 visitors have been warned and denied entrance to the dog park for not have their pets visibly tagged. This "proactive'' approach – warnings instead of tickets – will be ending, according to the story.
Having an unlicensed dog is punishable is an infraction punishable by a $75 fine.
