Rocky Hill Porter and Chester Institute Students Raise Money for Cleft Palate Surgeries
The students raised enough money for three surgeries.

Students in the dental assisting program at the Porter and Chester Institute’s Rocky Hill campus recently held a bake sale to raise money and awareness for Operation Smile, a charity that performs cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries for children in low and middle income countries.
The students also spoke in classes about the birth defect that affects thousands of children each year. They raised $758, which is enough to perform three surgeries.
