Rocky Hill Ready For State Class M Softball Final

RHHS previously won the Class M title in 2012.

ROCKY HILL, CT - It's off to the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference softball final for Rocky Hill High School.

The No. 5-seeded Terriers earned a berth in the championship game with a 1-0 win over top-ranked St. Joseph's on Monday at DeLuca Field in Stratford.

The Cadets had been 21-1.

It was the second straight win over a higher-seeded opponent for Rocky Hill. The Terriers defeated No. 4 North Branford in quarters, 5-2, in 11 innings.

Rocky Hill (22-1) will play No. 3 Seymour (23-1), either on June 10 or 11.

RHHS won the Class M title in 2012. Seymour last won Class M in 2014.
