ROCKY HILL, CT - Photographer JoAnn Marrero doesn't just take baby pictures. She shoots "your story with authenticity, dignity and love."

And nowhere is that more important than in a hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where Marrero is volunteering to take pictures of babies with the national organization Capturing Hopes Photography, reports the Hartford Courant.

In addition to Yale-New Haven Hospital, Marrero, who has a studio in Rocky Hill, will take photographs at any of the state's neonatal facilities to show the beauty, strength and resiliency of such children.
