
ROCKY HILL, CT - Family Engagement Teams from all 17 technical high schools recently met at the Sheraton Hartford South Hotel to recognize award winning programs and practices that engage families and communities in their schools in an effort to enhance students’ successes.
Lt. Gov. Nancy L. Wyman presented a citation on behalf of Gov. Dannel Malloy to Superintendent Nivea L. Torres and plaques were presented to regional school teams.
State technical high school graduation rates are better than percent in part, due to family involvement, officials said.
