Town Taxes Due August 1st
If you haven't already done so, your town tax bills are due by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Okay, maybe not…
But, if you haven't already done so, time is running out to pay your Rocky Hill motor vehicle tax bill and the first installment for all real estate and personal property taxes. Taxes are due to be in the mail or paid in person to the Town of Rocky Hill Tax Collection Office, 761 Old Main St. Residents can also pay their taxes online at the followign link.

Vehicles registered after Oct. 1, 2011 will be billed in January 2013, and do not appear on the July 2012 tax bill.
Late payments will result in an interest charge of 1.5 percent per month from the July 1, 2012 due date. The minimum interest charge is $2. The town encourages residents who are paying late to call the Tax Collection Office at 860-258-2717 to find out the correct amount due.

There will be no mailing for the second installment of the real estate and personal property tax bills. Both payment coupons were included in the bill mailed in June.
The Tax Collection Office will be open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can call 860-258-2717 with questions regarding tax collection issues. Residents can also drop off payments at the box in front of the town hall any time before Aug. 2 at 8:30 a.m.
