VIDEO: Humane Society's Pet Of The Week

If you’re looking for a canine companion who likes to take walks and then rest his head in your hand while you pet his back, Cosmo, a 4-year-old Chihuahua, might the dog for you.

"When I take him for walks, we spend part of the time with him resting his head in my hand while I pet him," Connecticut Humane Society volunteer Meghan said. "He just sits there looking up at me and soaking up every bit of attention that he can."

The Connecticut Humane Society in Newington is hoping that someone will fall in love with this "handsome pup" and take him home.

Cosmo is best suited for a home with adults only, although he enjoys the company of children older than eight years, cats and dogs. He can live in any type of housing, included apartments.
