Susan Campbell, author of Tempest-Tossed The Spirit of Isabella Beecher Hooker, discusses the noted abolitionist, suffragette and spiritualist. Youngest of the well-known Beecher family, which included Rev. Henry Ward Beecher and Harriet Beecher Stowe, Isabella was one of the most influential players in the movement for women’s suffrage.
