LOCAL SHELTON COACH TOP FINALIST FOR TRAINER OF THE YEAR



Founder and Director
of Conditioning for Better Athletic Development, Coach Kevin Gendron, cracked
the top15 out of over 1000 entries in the search for the 2014 PFP Trainer of
the Year.

Shelton, CT August 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PFP media, the leading industry
resource for personal trainers, in partnership with Club Industry, the premier
magazine and event for fitness and wellness professionals is pleased to
announce that Kevin Gendron is one of the top 15 finalist in their search for
the 2014 PFP Trainer of the Year.    This is the 9th year for this annual
prestigious award that not only showcases the number of exceptional fitness
professionals this industry has to offer, but it provides the winner with a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to advance his or her personal fitness
career.  “It is no surprise to me that

Gendron graduated from Southern Connecticut
State University in 1991 with a Master’s Degree in human performance and  received his Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist certification soon after.   He started Better Athletic Development in
1999 and opened the current facility in 2003.  
He has trained some of CT’s best high school and college athletes some
who have gone on to the professional ranks most recently Thomas Milone from
Masuk High School who was drafted in the 4th round by the Tampa Bay
Rays organization of Major League Baseball.
