2-Year-Old Drowns In Shelton Pool: PD
The boy fell into a relative's pool and drowned. Police continue to investigate.
SHELTON, CT — A 2-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool on Copper Penny Lane Monday in Shelton, according to police.
The boy was staying with a relative for the day. Police and EMS responded to the scene around 11 a.m. The boy was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An initial investigation revealed the boy wandered outside the house and fell into the pool. The boy resided in Shelton with his parents.
