$20,000 Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Shelton
The winning ticket is a "20X Cash 7th Edition" game, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
SHELTON, CT — A Middletown resident is $20,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased in Shelton, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, Michael Burnell claimed a winning "20X Cash 7th Edition" ticket he purchased at Scooter's Deli Mart on Bridgeport Avenue.
The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began in August 2021, and as of Monday, 39 grand prizes of $20,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 2.1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.08.
