SHELTON, CT — Six K-8 schools in Shelton have been named among the top 200 in Connecticut in a new report by U.S. News & World Report.
Sunnyside School was the highest ranked Shelton school, coming in at #99, while Long Hill School was next at #110. The other Shelton schools are listed below.
For the inaugural list, U.S. News published rankings and data on more than 80,000 public elementary and middle schools across the United States.

In Connecticut, a total of 848 schools were ranked, 560 elementary and 288 middle schools.

U.S. News ranked Booth Free School in Roxbury as the top in Connecticut among K-8 schools, according to the new list.
