60-Year-Old Shelton Business May Become Apartment Building: Report

The project will need approval by land-use agencies.

SHELTON, CT — A developer is seeking to construct 60 apartments in a 4-story building at the site of Langanke’s Florist & Greenhouses on Bridgeport Avenue, reports New Haven Business Journal.

The florist business would relocate to a new location in Shelton, which has not yet been disclosed, the publication reports. The project requires land-use approval.

According to its Facebook page, Langanke's Florist & Greenhouses at 1055 Bridgeport "is a family owned and operated business. For over 60 years we have been providing our community with lovely floral arrangements, beautiful roses and a great variety of indoor and outdoor plants."
