89-Unit Shelton Apartment Complex Likely To Win Approval

The Planning and Zoning Commission voted in favor of the project during a consensus vote.

SHELTON, CT — It appears that the proposed 89-unit Hawks Ridge apartment complex on Beard Sawmill Road will be good to go after the Planning and Zoning Commission voted in favor for a consensus vote.

The vote means the board is likely to approve the project, according to the Shelton Herald.

A traffic engineer for the developer found that the majority of residents who drove would use nearby Route 8 to get to their destinations, which would keep most traffic off of local roads.
