Adam’s House Announces Two New Board Members
Adam's House announces the appointment of two new Board members for the nonprofit grief support and education center in Shelton.
SHELTON, CT (December 3, 2021) - Adam’s House announces the appointment of two new Board members for the nonprofit grief support and education center in Shelton.
Joining the Board of Directors are Michelle Jukoski and Chantel Herron-Elliott. “Michelle and Chantel embody the spirit of philanthropy and bring talent, expertise and energy to the table. We are very fortunate to have them on our team as we expand our support services to meet the needs of a bereaving Connecticut community,” says Allison Wysota, Executive Director of Adam’s House.
Michelle Jukoski brings to the Adam’s House board her extensive experience in Global HR technology and consulting. As a Senior Vice President and National HR Technology Practice Leader for HUB International, Michelle is responsible for strategic oversight of HUB’s National HR Technology Practice, managing vendor relations, delivery of internal platform solutions, consulting support for sales, complex client HR Tech needs and new initiatives. She is a HUB Woman’s Network Ambassador, member of the HR Technology industry Advisory Collective, is an active member of several industry Broker Advisory boards, and a past-President of the New Hampshire Association of Health Underwriters. Michelle received her BA in Business Management and Marketing from Notre Dame College. Michelle is thrilled to be a part of Adam’s House and supporting and furthering its mission to support grieving families. She resides in Milford with her son, Zach, daughter, Zoe, and pets.
Chantel Herron-Elliott is a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience working with families and individuals in educational, non-profit, outpatient and government settings. A true public servant, Chantel started a non-profit where she held prom dress drives, community baby showers and provided scholarships for high school seniors. Chantel previously served as a board member with Safe Halls Project, and holds a Bachelor's in Psychology, a Masters in Social Work, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate. Chantel decided to join the Adam’s House Board of Directors because the mission is closely aligned with her passion and community service endeavors, and she is excited to bring her clinical expertise and event planning skills to further the mission. She currently lives in Danbury, Connecticut with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
