'American Pickers' Derby Episode To Air Soon
The pickers visited a former Italian grocery store that was frozen in time.
DERBY, CT — An episode of "American Pickers" featuring a Derby treasure trove of antiques frozen in time will air soon.
Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz visited a former Derby Italian grocery store that closed in 1954, according to the Connecticut Post. The store area of the building remained untouched for years.
Matt Catalono's great-great uncle Antonio Voccia ran the store and his great aunts lived in the area above the store. His last surviving aunt died last year.

The episode will air at 9 p.m. on the History Channel Monday.
Wolfe has been a lifelong "picker" and owns Antique Archaeology, a shop that sells restored antiques and other vintage items, according to the show's website. Fritz works as Wolfe's partner on the road. The show often highlights history lessons through the lens of antiques and collectibles.
