SHELTON-DERBY, CT — Fifty-two new businesses registered with the state across Shelton and Derby in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.
Shelton had 40 filings and Derby had 12. One of the most unique entries was ALIJE Music Publishing LLC, which registered under the "music publishers" category at 5A Pawtucket Avenue in Shelton on July 9.
Two related Shelton businesses, Gallucci Group LLC and Gallucci Realty LLC, registered at the same Windsor Road address on July 21, one as "offices of other holding companies" and the other as "offices of real estate agents and brokers."
In Derby, filings included Fully Focused Media LLC, a commercial photography business, and two auto-related companies, Gregory Auto Pick Up LLC and Bashar Cars LLC, registered as "motor vehicle towing" and "passenger car rental" companies respectively.
State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
