Investigators, including the state medical examiner, are still determining what happened, and police are thanking Shelton-area agencies, volunteers and neighbors whose help was crucial throughout the difficult search.
• Shelton firefighters rescue driver trapped in overturned truck, officials say (sheltonherald.com) — Firefighters in Shelton cut through the roof of an overturned pickup on Bridgeport Avenue Wednesday afternoon to free a trapped driver. Emergency crews stabilized the vehicle, removed the roof with hydraulic tools, and transported the sole occupant to a local facility for evaluation after the roadway was briefly closed.
