DERBY, CT — A concert scheduled for Wednesday night in Derby is canceled, according to the city.
Town Clerk Marc Garofalo said in an email around 6 p.m. the Sept. 2 summer concert on the Derby Green featuring the Silver Steel Drum Band has been canceled.
According to Garofalo, the concert was canceled "at the request of the band due to weather."
The concert was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 1, but was postponed to Wednesday due to weather concerns.
