Griffin Health, Derby Elks Host Free Child Car Booster Seat Safety Clinic Sept. 15

Certified child passenger safety technicians will show the importance of child booster car seats and how to properly install them.

Griffin Health and Derby Lodge #571 will offer a free child car booster seat safety clinic on Sept. 15.

Griffin Health and Derby Lodge #571 will host a free child car booster seat safety clinic on Tues., Sept. 15 from 3-5 p.m. at Griffin Health Community Outreach, 4 Mountain St., Derby.

Certified child passenger safety technicians will help parents, caregivers and children learn the importance of child booster car seats, how to properly install them and the appropriate positioning of a child in booster seats.

Families with children ages 5 to 8 years old, weighing at least 40 to 60 pounds that are in need of a booster can email ckellett@griffinhealth.org to apply for a free booster seat.

Appointments are required. To make an appointment for the clinic or for more information, contact Cathi Kellett at ckellett@griffinhealth.org.
