SHELTON-DERBY, CT — A company that lists its line of work as book publishers was among 45 businesses in Shelton and Derby that registered with the state in September, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.
Business types in the registry are chosen by the filers themselves and have not been independently verified.
Shelton accounted for 40 of the new businesses and Derby for five. Residential landlords led the list with seven registrations.
Other newcomers include a caterer, a waste collection company and a pet care business in Shelton and a clothing retailer in Derby.
The full list of businesses, their towns, street addresses and registered business types appears in the table below. It includes only businesses formed in Connecticut whose registrations remain active with the state.
