Birdhouses on Tap for Local Garden Club

Olde Ripton Garden Club News

Masuk H.S. Team with local volunteers visit the Olde Ripton Garden Club Meeting in Shelton on Monday, May 1 to assist in creating one-of-a-kind birdhouses at their monthly meeting. The birdhouses were made from cedar and pine and designed to attract House Wrens, Nuthatch and Warblers although Finches and other breeds nest in them as well. Each garden club attendee put together and took home their own birdhouse with the guidance of Shop Teacher Doug Fedorko and his students and local volunteers.

The Olde Ripton Garden Club meets the first Monday of the month at 10 am at Plumb Memorial Library. Meeting are open to the public and all are welcome. Annual dues are $25.00. For more information, visit www.olderiptongardenclub.org.
