Bond Set For Man Accused of Killing Wife in Shelton

Thomas Infante's case was continued to Oct. 8.

The bond for 53-year-old Thomas Infante has been set at $1.5 million, according to reports.

Infante faced a judge Tuesday at Derby Superior Court. He is currently facing a murder charge for allegedly shooting his wife, 52-year-old Lisa Infante.

Shelton police responded to a residence on Hickory Lane Sunday night for a sudden death call. Police determined that the death was a homicide.

Police said the couple were going through a divorce and had gotten into an argument when Infante allegedly shot and killed his wife. He turned himself into police Monday.

The couple lived together with four children aged 14-20. According to WFSB, a protective order was placed for two of his children.
