Brothers Accused Of Selling Narcotics In Shelton, Derby Arrested: PD
As a result of their investigation, officers seized two cars and approximately 100 grams of cocaine base, according to police.

SHELTON, CT — Two Naugatuck men accused of selling narcotics to customers in Shelton, Derby and other nearby communities were arrested Thursday, according to police.
In a news release, police said Shelton officers, the Drug Enforcement Administration New Haven District Office Task Force (DEA) and the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force (SNTF SW) began investigating "a significant surge in overdoses along the Route 8 corridor in central and southern Connecticut" in January.
Shelton police soon identified two brothers, Ronshen and Devone Majors, as the primary sources of narcotics supply for numerous customers in Shelton, Ansonia, Derby, Naugatuck and Waterbury, according to police.

As a result, officers made multiple controlled purchases of narcotics from both men throughout their investigation. They also surveilled the two brothers between their homes and stash locations, as well as during drug transactions, police said.
Both men were arrested in Naugatuck and Ansonia on Thursday as a result of a coordinated effort involving Shelton and Naugatuck police, the DEA and SNTF SW, according to police.

Officers also executed search warrants at both men's Naugatuck homes and seized two 2014 Jeep Gran Cherokees and approximately 50 grams of purple fentanyl, 100 grams of cocaine base and $100,000 cash, according to police.
Police also noted the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
