Burlesque Club Proposed In Shelton

SHELTON, CT — The owner of a proposed burlesque club in Shelton said the business won't be a strip or gentleman's club and is more about theatrics.

Owner Randi Lee England said "Hush" would open under Hunan Pan Chinese restaurant on Bridgeport Avenue, according to the Valley Independent Sentinel.

The building is currently zoned to not allow adult activities, but it's unclear if the application would fall into that category because no zoning application has been submitted.
