The Derby Neck Library is offering a brand new book club for parents, guardians, and caregivers of children to discuss strategies and techniques for effective parenting in a nonjudgmental space. Each month, we’ll read a title from a pediatrician, a psychologist, or a memoir, and consider how the information we gather might be useful in practice. We will also share personal experiences and challenges to troubleshoot as a team.
Parenting is one of the toughest and most important endeavors a person can take on, but we don’t have to do it alone. With open minds (and books), we can support each other, learn together, and grow together.
