2:00 – 4:00pm
STEM Saturdays is our newest children's program offering fun science explorations that help grow understanding about the natural world and reinforce the scientific method as a tool for making meaning out of observations.
STEM Saturdays is an all-ages drop-in program. Stop by the Children's Room any time between 2:00 and 4:00 to try the experiment!
Topic: Continuing our exploration of air resistance, we'll be building paper airplanes and learning about how their wings use resistance to float in defiance of gravity. As an added bonus, we will also test propulsion designs to launch our airplanes outside (weather permitting).
